GrooveArena is free and stays free — the studio, the rooms, the ranked ladder, every kit that can be earned. Not a trial, not a demo, and there is no version of this with ads in it.

It is also one person. There is no team and no office, and the rooms, the ladder and the library run on a server bill that arrives every month whether anybody supported that month or not. That bill is what the paid tier is for — not for locking a feature behind it.

So nothing here buys an advantage, and it never will: ranked runs on the same kit for everybody, whatever anyone has spent. What supporting gets you is a bigger room — 8 players instead of 3 — coins every month, a clean download, and the thing staying online.
